OUR PHILOSOPHY

Wellness in the workplace generates profit. Collaborators’ productivity increases by 10%, absenteeism drops, and profits grow by 1%. In Western societies, relationships with money are often taboo and our upbringing carries much weight in them. Interpersonal wellness is important because it affects the family, children and relatives, and other people too, be it in a professional or friendly context. It is often a matter of self-confidence and perception of oneself and others. Physical wellness is essential, as we are nothing without good health. Feeling good through physical exercise, sleep and meditation allows you to be consistent with your thinking. Spiritual wellness is the relationship with the meaning of life, your identity and your mission on earth. It is a rapidly growing field with today’s crisis in society. Mental wellness is the twin of physical wellness.

Managers have two key missions: to develop their business and make it durable, and to fulfil their collaborators. They need to do this with optimism, particularly during a period of economic uncertainty. That is exactly when their collaborators, suppliers and customers need hope, vision and a future. Managers always need to bring positivity, even when the situation is complicated – and especially so then.

So,
wellness in the workplace makes businesses perform better, as it reduces interpersonal conflict, outstanding debt, falls in sales, absenteeism and demotivation. That is already a good reason to act.

But managers can also make wellness a goal in itself, an intrinsic value, a human mission. They will then propel their business into being “a great place to work”.
